Elaine Sullivan, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Project Manager & Strategic Planner
Elaine offers over 30 years of experience in the design and management of architectural projects. Before joining Robert E. Beach Architects seven years ago, she managed numerous large scale architectural and interior projects for nationally recognized firms in the mid-Atlantic Region. With experience in business, real estate, and overall project management, she plays a vital role in the planning and logistics of project execution. During her time with the firm she has completed numerous commercial design projects including the renovation of Lockheed Martin’s Manassas Offices and the interior design of Sterling Optical Tysons Corner.
Bill Gallagher, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Project & Production Manager
Prior to joining the firm Bill managed his own award-winning residential design firm in Ithaca, New York. Upon relocating to Virginia, he completed his Bachelor of Architecture at Howard University while serving the firm as a Project Manager. Over the past 15 years he has earned a reputation for designing spaces that are responsive to the needs of their inhabitants. He has a strong understanding of the elements necessary for the successful completion of projects at all scales and has served an instrumental role in the firm’s most significant projects.
Dan Cammer, SET NICET
Senior Codes & Standards Director
Dan provides full code reviews throughout our planning and drawing development process. During his 40 year career he has authored the widely used Technical Notes on Brick Construction for The Brick Industry Association and worked for the City of Alexandria as a plans examiner. His past experience reviewing drawings for code compliance as a certified plans examiner brings unparalleled depth to Robert E. Beach Architects, LLC’s quality control process. Outside of the office Dan serves as the membership chair for the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute.
Melissa Baum, Assoc. AIA
Project Manager
Melissa recently relocated to Virginia with her family from the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Over her 18-year career she has built a strong and diverse portfolio of work including academic facilities, mountain resorts, affordable multifamily housing, and luxury custom residences. While her projects have been diverse, they are each characterized by a strong connection to the site, a reflection of the character of their occupants, and sustainable building practices. Melissa especially enjoys detailing interiors and addressing the needs of building users.
